There is truly “no such thing as a little moment." The split second it
takes to capture an image will give you a lifetime of looking back and
remembering the bigger moments and the memories that dance in our hearts.
Through the lens of my camera, I have been capturing images for over 30
years. My love of people and interest in everyone I meet has led me
naturally into portrait and journalistic-style photography. My goal is to
capture the individual spirit of my subjects, have the photograph tug at
your heart, and make you smile.
I approach the photography session in a friendly, relaxed manner. Sessions are
done wherever you are most comfortable: at your home, a park, a beach or
other place of your choice.
There is always time for a child to take a photograph with my camera and see
what it’s like to look through the lens, for them to tell me the fun things
they like to do, and to get them comfortable with having their photograph
taken. When photographing babies and young children, there is also always
time for a break.
Studio photography is also available. Simple yet elegant backdrops
with few or no props are my preferred studio style. Including your own props is welcomed… a
well-loved teddy bear, a musical instrument, or an heirloom book are some suggestions.
